When should the heater be turned on? Who makes the decision?

the cooling of the weather, it is again on the agenda when to turn on the heaters in apartments and estates. So is there a specific date that applies to everyone for the opening

Is the date on which the heaters will be opened?

There is no general date in the Law on Condominium, which obliges heating radiators to be opened on a specific date each year. Therefore, it is not correct to speak of a single heating opening date, which applies to all apartments and sites

However, decisions of the Local Environmental Board and other local regulations adopted in order to prevent air pollution in the provinces may introduce different rules for the use of heating systems. Therefore, the current decisions of the province must also be taken into account when assessing when to operate the heaters.

Does the manager make the decision?

The management plan for the operation of the heaters, the decisions of the board of floor owners and the relevant local regulations should be considered together.

In accordance with Article 35 of the Law on Condominium, the manager is in charge of implementing the decisions made by the board of condominium owners and carrying out the necessary work related to the management of the parent property. Therefore, management must act in accordance with current decisions and regulations regarding the operation of heating radiators
